Join SMPS Hawaii and SMPS Member, Adam Taylor for a “Professional Photography Workshop” Lunch & Learn. During the open-forum style Lunch & Learn, Adam will share and discuss everything that goes into why it’s important to have clear communication with your photographer, managing and relaying expectations, and how the photographer and client (you) can create images to tell your project's story. Lunch will be provided, please note any dietary restrictions upon registration (ie. Vegetarian/Vegan).
What we’ll be talking about:
- Why is hiring a professional photographer important? Why is photography for marketing in the A/E/C industry necessary?
- Perspective, Focal Length, Balance, Lighting - Let’s get you thinking about how these photography topics relate to your goals and intentions with your images.
- What’s a shot-list and why should I need to think about it?
- What does the photography process look like? From planning, scheduling, and scouting for the shoot.
Meet our Speaker:
Adam Taylor is an award winning photographer with over 16 years of experience telling the stories of his clients projects through photography. Specialized in capturing residential and commercial spaces - the Oahu based photographer collaborates with architects, builders, and designers to translate the beautiful environments they create into art. Driven by his client’s unique visions, Adam works in tandem with his clients to ensure that the right message, mood, and lifestyle are portrayed in the final product, giving the brand a consistent, luxurious look that helps elevate brands.
